This guide was first published in 2000 and covers the St. Lawrence River from Quebec City to Sept-Iles and virtually all harbors along the Quebec shore in the Gulf of St. Lawrence — as far as the Strait of Belle Isle. It features details of harbors on the Magdalen Islands, Prince Edward Island and along both shores of the Northumberland Strait. The Gulf is indeed varied, but everywhere you will find a common thread of a generous welcome. Not many cruisers know these waters and this guide reveals many of the Gulf’s “hidden gems.”
